GHOSTS AND PINK CANDLES-BOOK 14
Birthdays should be happy. Mine was until a magical ring caused me to see many, many ghosts. It was a present from my mom. She’d found the ring that her mom had asked her to pass down to me tucked away in a closet. The stone was a match to my pink pendant. Dare I hope it was magical, too? Turns out it was, because when I tried it on, I saw them—them being about ten ghosts floating around in my aunt’s restaurant. Oh, my. Naturally, I couldn’t wait to find out what was going on. It wasn’t that I hadn’t seen ghosts before, just not so many at one time. Note: I took off the ring right away. Even I was a little scared. Eventually, a friend of my grandmother's appeared--as in she was a ghost— to ask me if I could find Nana's missing friend. Sure, no problem. It’s what I did, being an amateur sleuth, and all. Armed with her name, I set out to pick the brains of the gossip queens, but what I found out made seeing ghosts a piece of cake. Thankfully my wonderful boyfriend and my talking pick iguana familiar will help me figure it out. Stop on by the Tiki Hut Grill to get the latest update on this very bizarre case. |
